Olb- Cj Mosley or Arthur Brown

SS- Matt Elam

DE- Damontre Moore

DT- Sylvester Williams

Note: not saying we need to get every player I named but @ least one.

Isa Abdul-Qudus- needs to play more I dont care if he and Maclom split time but he needs to be on the feild ASAP.

I honestly want Harper traded or have him as a situational player he just doesnt make enough plays and and coverage skills very poor been better this year though he's better playing Weakside Backer...if you ask me!

Malcom Jenkins- should be moved to CB or SS and Draft Elam to eventually replace Harp...(Elam) 5-10 202 pounds hits hard and can cover, him and Isa would make a perfect combo on the Deep End.

Jabari Greer....Took a huge step back this year but we really dont have anyone to replace him right now...Let's wait and see if we can get the Greer of old.

Patrick Robinson- If this guy could be more consistent...besides that TD play against Hicks he played pretty well.

Curtis Lofton BEAST!! he had like 4tfl last game

David Hawthorne- He didnt play a full season with us because of injury looked slow some games but vs the Giants he played fast not pulling his card yet.

Vilma/Casillas- Well we all know we dont have the same Vilma I dont think we will ever get him back but I'll take him over shanle plus exp. purposes, Casillas when giving chances actually has made some plays tipped passes sacks solo tackles...smh only if he did it earlier while healthy good 2nd string.

DLINE- Where do I start...Sed Ellis GONE! Will Smith should not be starting next season IF they bring him back...Cam coming along fine still needs to improve pass rush though Akiem needs to start I wouldnt mine Tyrunn Walker in the rotation w/ Bunkley who also needs to be more stout.

CoreyWhite/ElbertMack- Im good on these two I was skeptical about Mack at first but he's been better than I thought. I would like to see Marquis Johnson back too looked good in the pre-season.

(Possible)New Additions- I have a feeling Cj will be gone early so hopefully Arthur is still there good in coverage always seems to be around the ball.

Damontre Moore he's ranked top 5 at DE but I think he fits us best with skill set high motor relentless wins one on ones consistently long arms.

Not bad! I'd say Greer is getting pretty old and would like to see Jenkins playing corner like when he was in college. We need a deep coverage safety and start thinking about the future for OLB (Vilma is getting long in the tooth)

Thanks! I agree Jenkins did play well @ corner for the little time that he was there...Olb is a concern for me hopefully we can grab cj ...only time will tell

If Matthiew doesnt give a fk enough to not get suspended from Collegiate athletics, that is not the personality we want in the locker room.

Tyrann Mathieu? That is a big no-no in my book... At 5'9", I think he'll be abused by some of the taller receivers, not to mention he has suspect character issues...

Yes Harper to Olb but In SITUATIONAL/ SUB-PACKAGES which he does now from time to time. Plus he play better closer to the line anyway

Do you think Bunkley play this year was good for a guy brought in to STOP the RUN it was ok and that's clearly not good enough.

Yes Jenkins to SS 1. TO get Isa on the field 2. I rather have him there than Harper. 3. Him and Harper clearly switch safety positions in a couple packages so it wouldnt be to much of a problem. And I said SS or Corner if We were to get Elam.

Olb- Cj Mosley
he is one of the player the combine will make or break. he is a player to keep an eye on for sure. game speed worries me in the move to the nfl. but he is football smart and that makes up for a lot.

OLB - Arthur Brown
on the fence about the kid. he is more quick than fast so a move inside might be better for him.

SS- Matt Elam
2/3 round talent much like harper

DE- Damontre Moore
is he coming out? if so he might be gone by the time we pick. i worry about over hyped.

DT- Sylvester Williams - he could be a nice snag in the 2nd but can you light a fire under him and keep him going for 16 games to warrant a first round pick? trade down for him and get more picks? pass there are other players higher on my list at the bottom of the first.

TBH, I cannot do such an excellent in depth analysis but I appreciate it.

Before all that, the defensive move I want to see is tthe SAints defense getting closer to the opposition.

New Defense that the players are just in the last 3 weeks catching on to.... Some new players to the team this season... No head coach....

Too early to tell and way too many factors to decide anything at this point.

I respectfully disagee, they have had 3 games short of an entire season to catch on, other teams in the league changes DC's that have been far superior to what I have seen by the sad, pathetic play I have witnessed this season, I don't buy that 1 minute, these are pro-atheletes with a college degree so it's not like a job changed from football which most have played since pee-wee.

I kind of agree with this, but I think it goes deeper.

We've made the mistake of forcing a system onto the players we have instead of adjusting the system to fit the players skills.

We have CB's that did well in man now playing a lot of zone.
Spags system asks LB's to cover deeper, which they don't do well.
We have a traditional SS and FS playing mostly left-right.
His scheme demands a lot from the front 4, which isn't exactly our most talented group.

When Atlanta hired Mike Nolan I thought it was a mistake. He's a renowned 3-4 DC coming to a team with 4-3 personnel. Well guess what he does? He adjusts his system to fit the talent he has and for the most part its worked much better than I ever thought it would for them.
