Just another example of our management and coach's being defiant but I am sure the coach's will claim they didn't know anything about it. |
Re: Jimmy Graham has had an unreported wrist injury all season
If the wrist injury is the reason why he has been dropping so many passes and why he hasn't been producing on the field in general... then I think they should've removed him from the active roster and dealt with the injury, so that he could've had it fixed and he would've been able to return as a much more effective player. Sproles had his hand injury dealth with and fixed, and he ended up missing minimal time because of it.
There's no question that the team should've put him on the injury report, because that is the rule, so I'm not even debating that. |
Re: Jimmy Graham has had an unreported wrist injury all season
Yeah this is just stupid, and that's squarely on Vitt and the coaches. I don't understand why the Saints don't do like Bellichick, and list 2/3 of the roster on the injury report each week, Brady questionable, Welker Probable, Gronk Doubtful, they list every player with a hangnail or shaving cut or mosquito bite as "questionable" and THAT would show the world how stupid and useless the NFL injury report really is these days.
They are gonna hammer us on this, no question. Watch them blow this up into a huge scandal, just watch. They already pissed the league off when they did this with Drew a couple years ago. Playing with a leg brace and not on the injury list? Come on, man (rolls eyes) HOWEVER the flipside is that, if you list Jimmy Graham on the injury report with a wrist, teams are gonna TARGET that wrist, and really go after it....and in one hit or play you could make a relatively mild injury that he can play through, into a more serious, IR-worthy one that ends his year. There's two sides to this. You can already see this happening, already: Jimmy has had the history of back problems, you can already see teams target him with hits on his back, aim the helmet at it, or try and spear him while he's in the air and stuff -- that's not an accident, that's because they KNOW about his back. If they knew about his wrist, it could make it much, much worse. |
