not worth the carry over either. redo the contract if needed and if it is then take the year to decide on a new course of action.

Re: 2013 Saints - Free Agency Targets
McClain’s time with Ravens could be ending, quickly
Posted by Mike Florio on April 22, 2013, 7:23 AM EDT Dennis Angel, rolando McClain AP Earlier this month, the Ravens signed linebacker Rolando McClain to a no-risk, one-year deal with a $700,000 base salary. None of the money is guaranteed, which means there will be no skin off owner Steve Bisciotti’s wallet if McClain is cut in the wake of his latest arrest. When the Ravens rolled the dice on Rolando, many assumed he was placed on a one-strike arrangement. Now that the count is 0-1, it’s time to see whether the Ravens had indeed warned McClain that one false move will get him fired. Since McClain has fewer than four years of NFL service, his new contract would be exposed to waivers, meaning that any other team could give him a third chance at the kind of low price he was willing to give the Ravens for a chance to join the defending champions. If no one claims McClain, the rocky NFL tenure of a 2010 top-10 pick could be over Rumor Mill | ProFootballTalk |

Re: 2013 Saints - Free Agency Targets
Loomis really dropped the ball on that one eh?
Ravens ILB Rolando McClain disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges reportedly arose after McClain said "(expletive) the police" as he walked by an officer, and "tried to jerk his arms away twice" as he was handcuffed. We're guessing "(expletive) the police" wasn't what the Ravens had in mind for a comeback credo when they gave McClain a second chance. Hopelessly immature and out of his depth as a professional, McClain is leaving a league that loves redemption stories little choice but to give up on him. Source: Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter |
