havent heard much about his injury how serious is it?
can he play at the season opener?
would be great because i got him on my fantasy roster :-)

It was a thigh injury. It made him gimpy. The report given was that he could return, if he were needed. With the pressure our QBs were getting, it was a good decision to hold him out. He injured it when he was forced to roll out of the pocket, but he still out ran Grady Jackson on his \"gimpy\" leg - I\'m guessing it isn\'t too bad.

It has kept him out of practice and the 1st preseason game.
Yup. But nagging injuries are a really bad deal. And Brooks needs to play in the next two preseason games in order to get ready for the regular season.

No worries. Keep him available. He\'ll start every game this year barring any serious injuries.
