Would we be allowed?
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; As previously stated, yes we can trade into the 2nd round. However, it's not worth it because we'd have to give up a too much... And let's face it, none of our "dispensable" players are worth a 2nd round pick ...

As previously stated, yes we can trade into the 2nd round. However, it's not worth it because we'd have to give up a too much... And let's face it, none of our "dispensable" players are worth a 2nd round pick to a team in a potential trade. I also must say that we are not in cap trouble next year. With all of the players that are going to be cut after this season plus Mickey the Genius being our GM... We'll be fine.
