Next Year's Schedule
Home:
Atlanta Carolina Tampa Bay Arizona San Francisco Buffalo Miami (Dallas, Washington, NY Giants) Away Atlanta Carolina Tampa Bay St. Louis Seattle New England New York Jets (Minnesota, Chicago) If we finish 2nd in the division by winning against the Panties, we would face the loser of Dallas-Washington and the Vikings next season. Our #1 Pick in the draft would be between 16-18th. If we finish 3rd in the division by losing against the Panties, we would face the Giants and Chicago. Our #1 Pick in the draft would be between 11-14. Seems like there's a lot less to play for this Sunday. Higher pick, easier schedule. Play Chase and the entire practice squad. |
Re: Next Year's Schedule
They're not going to do that....they want to go 8-8.

Re: Next Year's Schedule
You can't base next year on the status of teams headed into week 17 this year.
You play to win. Otherwise the whole thing is a farce. Pad up and bust some skulls, and if Roger don't like it he can jump in the lake. |
Re: Next Year's Schedule
Sounds awefully like the BCS.
|
Re: Next Year's Schedule
Thank God we play the AFC East next year! There's a couple of easy wins there. Plus, we played the AFC East the year we won the Superbowl... Sounds like a good omen to me!

Re: Next Year's Schedule
Run ambush or a fake punt this week please
|
I like the schedule, couple if changes both sides of the ball and a 12+ wins coming and back the playoffs.

Re: Next Year's Schedule
The Jets ! LOL

Re: Next Year's Schedule
I'm glad to see us play in Seattle next year,,,,,,,looks like I will be donning the Sam Mills battle gear once again!!! I will guarantee all of you, we will be heard!!! I hate Seattle, I truly do. Any ways, what was the topic again? Sorry, lost my head.

Re: Next Year's Schedule
That looks like quit a tough schedule. No real pushovers in that group.
I might have a shot at going to the Patriots game or the Jets game, makes it a whole lot cheaper when I only have to travel to the east coast. I can fly non-stop to New york too which would be sweet and save even more. |
Re: Next Year's Schedule

Re: Next Year's Schedule
Nothing to play for? Why do you think they make so much money? You play the game to win, just like that loud mouth Herman Edwards said.
While I fundamentally disagree with the idea of quitting, for any reason, I could at least kinda see where you're coming from if it were a top 5 or at least top 10 pick. Anything outside of that is a crap shoot, though. At least we won't be picking 28th or higher. We stand a decent chance of getting someone good inside the top 20. Wanting the team to just give up is absurd. |
Re: Next Year's Schedule
I want to destroy seattle already . Well frisco also.dallas the clowns etc.
|
Re: Next Year's Schedule
God I hope we don't have to go to Chicago. Seems like whenever we play them it almost always at Soldier Field.
|
Re: Next Year's Schedule
I wouldn't be surprised if the Pats-Jets games were scheduled for late in the year, with the trip to Seattle sandwiched between them.
|
Re: Next Year's Schedule
Here are the hard games next year... my prediction:
Home: Atlanta San Francisco Dallas, Washington, NY Giants Away Atlanta Seattle New England Chicago If you haven't been following Seattle, they are getting nasty... Possibly as difficult game as SF |
Re: Next Year's Schedule
Seattles defense is getting to be just as good, if not better than the 49ers...
|
Re: Next Year's Schedule
Quote:
48 points against SF -- only the Pats broke 30 against the 49ers 50 points against the Bills -- other than the 49ers no one else broke 40 against them 58 Points against the Cards --- No one else broke 35 against the Cards |
Re: Next Year's Schedule
Well I don't think we get swept by Atlanta thats for sure. they should have done that this season. I can't see SF winning again in our dome. And the years SF has played the NFC South they have been disappointing, with 3-13, 5-11, and 6-10 seasons. I'm more worried about skins and cowboys than giants. They are not a dome team. I think dolphins is gonna be one of the traps along with rams. I hope we don't get bears they will schedule us in December if we do.

Re: Next Year's Schedule
I agree with Oak.
Looking at the schedule, minus the division games and conference games, the rest is pretty much the same. You trade out Oakland Raiders this yera for another team. not much differnt. Too hard now to see who, where , what teams with have whom playing and coaching next year. After SB, whatever teams get there, some players get moved . You now pretty much know which coaching staffs will not be back next year, but no one knows which staffs will take that place. I understand what some are saying about 8-8 this year for a better rank in areas for draft, whatnot. Nah, Saints have to finish 2012, 8-8, .500 . They need this for the here and now. |
