Goodell won’t meet with Payton before Super Bowl
Report;
When NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell suspended coach Sean Payton for all of the 2012 season, the league made it clear that Payton will be banned until after Super Bowl XLVII. In recent weeks, a sense has emerged that Goodell could meet with — and possibly reinstate — Payton before the Super Bowl, as an olive branch of sorts to folks in New Orleans who will (or won’t) be welcoming the NFL and Goodell to town for the Super Bowl. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the meeting won’t occur before the Super Bowl. Instead, Payton will be required to apply for reinstatement the day after the championship game is played at the Superdome. Better bring an oxygen tank and a few rolls of toilet paper to New Orleans when you go Goodell.
NOTHING will be safe. |

Wasn't expecting anything less from him. I really hope he makes it out of NO alive. Only to continue his commish duties next year and hand over Tiffany to Sean. However, I'd say our 2nd SB win is a safer bet.
Guck you Foodell! |

Re: Goodell won’t meet with Payton before Super Bowl
I'm waiting to hear the loudest boos every recorded at the SB. It's not just Saints fans either. He and the owners screwed over the players and fans trying to strong arm the refs. If he were smart he'd stay off the field. Otherwise he's going to be taking away the glory from the team that won because that's all the media will talk about the next day of how he got humilitaed and it was deserved.

Re: Goodell won’t meet with Payton before Super Bowl
The regular 2012 season is over after 16 games. Playoffs are not considered part of the season by any team.
This just proves Goodell knows nothing about footall. |
