NAU assistant, and former Saint ex-QB Lewis dies at 39
R.I.P.
Lewis had a standout career as quarterback for the Lumberjacks from 1991-95 and was inducted in the NAU Hall of Fame in 2003. He played in the NFL for the Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints from 1996-2002 after being a fourth-round selection of the Broncos in the 1996 draft. He was part of two Super Bowl teams during his career, including the Broncos’ Super Bowl XXXII championship team. In his NFL career, he completed 28 of 54 passes for 210 yards and threw two interceptions. NAU assistant, ex-QB Lewis dies at 39 |
