Drew Brees understands why New Orleans Saints fans want no part of a Falcons' Super Bowl
 

Saints defensive end Will Smith may have expressed the sentiment of most Saints players and fans Sunday night via Twitter: "Anybody but Atlanta... #WHODAT."

"I appreciate good football," Brees said Monday at the Verizon Race to Super Bowl XLVII, which was a scavenger hunt throughout the French Quarter. "I appreciate sound football. Atlanta is playing that right now. San Francisco is playing that right now. Am I still upset about losing to those two teams down the stretch? Yeah. That's what kept us out of the playoffs unfortunately. That's what's disappointing about our season.

"The roles have been reversed before. I'm sure they weren't cheering for us. I think you want your division to do well when they face other teams, in this phase moreso than in the regular season. There's a level of respect that goes with certain divisions. Everybody talks about the NFC East and the AFC East, right? We want to be able to talk about the NFC South like that."

I'm hopin' there are enough Who Dats there so we can properly express our gratitude to rg for his strong, benevolent, even handed, objective, transparent leadership in these troubled times.......

Oh yeah, for the first time in my life I'm sayin' this, "GO 49ers!" Tell Mike Smith there's a little brown spot on his couch to mark where he should sit to watch the Super Bowl.

Must cheer for San Fran.
Must not allow Falcon fans to soil our turf.
Must carry torch since Goodell tripped us on our way to a home SuperBowl.
Must pretend to like Krap-n-Jack and public nudity.

Not that I'm arguing for this, but it would be really sweet to nukular knee drop on all those falcaints fans who show up fort he Super Bowl only to get blown out by the Pats. No scenario would be sweeter than to see the ATL spend money in our town and leave battered, heartbroken and poor.

But to reiterate, I am NOT advocating cheering for the clowns.

I'm just not as politically correct as Brees. I DO NOT WANT THE FALCONS TO DO WELL -------------EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And definitely not in the Superdome.
