Thumbs up Saints Fans Petition White House to Force Return of 2nd Round Draft Pick

Since out Fraud-In-Command is an admitted Bears fan, I doubt he will do anything!

*********************************************************

The fines have been paid, the suspensions served or vacated. One stolen draft pick later and there is but one final pick to surrender in this year's NFL Draft, before all of commissioner Roger Goodell's Bountygate punishments are completely served and this freakin' nightmare can be put to bed.

For Saints fans, 2012 will forever be known as the Year of Bountygate; a season stolen unfairly and unsquarely by Goodell. Can't we just leave it at that? Do we really have to drag 2013 into this mess?

The Saints have already paid their dues. Some might even argue more than their fair share of dues. Paul Tagliabue admitted in his appeal ruling that the coaching suspensions alone "represented a severe competitive penalty for the Saints' team, its fans and indirectly for the New Orleans/Gulf Coast region." The loss of yet another draft pick this year, well it's just overkill.

I don't think it unreasonable to revisit Goodell's forced draft pick forfeiture, in light of everything we now know since he first announced his Bountygate sanctions. Paul Tagliabue would probably agree. Goodell could do the right thing and show some leniency.

But we know he won't. So your crazy cronies at Canal Street Chronicles are attempting to go over Goodell's head and appeal to a higher power. Which is why we've started this official White House petition - the brainchild of the incomparable Ralph Malbrough - asking the president to get involved.

Please sign it and share it via your favorite social media outlet. If it reaches 100,000 signatures (the new requirement), the White House must acknowledge our request.

The petition to build a real life Death Star may have gotten blown up (pun totally freakin' intended) and Piers Morgan still lives among us, but there's no reason why Goodell should still get to act like a tyrannical douche.

Sign it!

Of course he won't do anything and neither should he. A psident shouldn't be dabbeling in such things.

Petitioning the White House? REALLY? This is an absurd gesture.

We already as a Nation have enough problems with the President trying to circumvent procedure and wielding a heavy hand...

Who is the idiot that started this petition?

HA lol just let me recognize one name on there... Someone will catch hell.

Wow. As much as I would like to have that draft pick back, there is no way in hell I would be putting my name on something like this. The only petition I would sign concerning the White House would be for friggen' IMPEACHMENT!

I'd rather forfeit the entire draft than have the Feds get involved in this.

I will do what ever I can to fix this and if it involves signing a petition..............then so be it.
If you don't like it then start a petition that will have an impact.

Exactly, he's too busy destroying America and turning it into a socialist, deadbeat, 3rd world country to do anything like that. If he's back from his 50th Hawaii vacation at our expense that is.

Dont have to worry about it. It was removed because it violated there "terms of participation" LOL

Had zero chance anyway. Pardon the pun but people are trying to slob on the wrong knob. Start a petition to the bastard behind this and maybe he may change his mind. Doubtful..but maybe. Would do better than trying to get everyone and there grandma to do something. JMO
