What do we do about Roger Goodell?
 

Now that it is known the Falcons won't be invading our city and spreading their bird flu every where, I was looking toward the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl festivities are always superb and if you have never been around a Super Bowl, I recommend it.

This year there is a new attraction. Roger Goodell will be in town (I assume). This man, even though he was "doing his job", basically sunk the Saints season this year. There is a lot of animosity towards this guy. I am not saying we should hurl rotten tomatoes at him or threaten him, but the man committed an injustice to our city and to the Saints in the form of exaggerated penalties.

I don't really care what Landrieu says. This guy needs to realize, we aren't some small market team to pick on to make an example for the bigger markets. We are a passionate city with unique ties to our NFL team.

As the whodat nation, can we think of any thing to say or do that won't bring bad P.R. to our city but will let Rog know he picked the wrong city to start his irresponsible campaign to promote player safety in order to dig his way out of the concussion lawsuits?

I like the idea of flooding new orleans with signs and tshirts made by locals. does anyone know where he is staying? would it be possible to keep tabs on him during his visit so we can follow him with signs everywhere he goes?

I would totally be into doing a flash mob with some signs and peaceful Who Dat protest if there was someplace legit we could go where the media and visitors would see it. Poydras as people walk up to the Dome from the Quarter? There is a little spot over by La Salle and Poydras, across the street from the actual Superdome, with an awning, where a little crowd of Who Dats with Goodell signs would probably fit in and get the attention of people going into Champions Square from that direction.

The media and the fans seeing it is more important than him actually seeing it, IMHO.

This is a real dilemma.
I'm not gonna run him over or anything, but he is not welcome in my house.
I don't blame the business owners who have shut their door to him. He did our Saints wrong and everyone knows it. He would do right by just flying in for gameday and then getting the hell out of the city.

Whether it's cool or not I recommend that we castrate him so no more little Rogers make it to New Orleans. I've got a very dull rusty knife.
