Jaguars hire Mike Mallory as special teams coordinator
After five seasons on the staff of the Saints, Mike Mallory is the new special teams coordinator of the Jaguars.
The Jaguars announced today that new head coach Gus Bradley added Mallory to his staff. Mallory was a two-time All-Big Ten linebacker at Michigan in the 1980s (while another Mallory was making America laugh on Family Ties), and since then he has spent 27 years coaching, primarily in college. Mallory comes from a coaching family: His father Bill Mallory was head coach at Indiana, Colorado, Northern Illinois and Miami of Ohio, his brother Curt is the secondary coach at Michigan, and his brother Doug is the defensive coordinator/assistant head coach at Indiana. Re: Jaguars hire Mike Mallory as special teams coordinator
Jaguars have turned into the new Browns.
They take some of the worst players or coaches and add them to the staff. Wasnt it Mike Malarkey that went from Atl to HC in Jax? Then proceeded to go 2-14. Now they take whoever the hell this Mallory is and put him as ST coach when in N.O. he was ASST ST COACH? Whats next? Sign Ryan Leaf? |

It's the Jags... last year they went after the offensive coordinator (to be their HC) who's offense was unable to put up any points in the playoffs that year, so go figure?! But, honestly, doesn't anyone want McMahon? |
