Goodell should expect rude welcome
Roger Goodell is as popular in New Orelans as rain at Mardi Gras. But Saints should rise above.

Sure, Godhell lifted SP's suspension because he is such a good person! If the SB would be in any other city than NO, does anybody think he would have lifted it too?

Re: Goodell should expect rude welcome
RG could care less! He's coming in heavily guarded you won't even get to smell his cheap aftershave. When Sunday is over maybe the Bounty talk starts to fade to black.

Re: Goodell should expect rude welcome
I dropped a poop in my toilet that looked just like Roger Goodell (it wasn't very hard to do).
YES the guy messed with the wrong city, regardless of what anyone thinks or says here in this forum or elsewhere. New Orleans people are hardened city folk, just like Philly, Brooklyn, Boston, Detroit, etc. You mess with them, they're gonna mess with you. If you're good to them, they will be SUPER good to you. Goodell kinda messed with the city of New Orleans. End of story. Trust me, had he done this to the Eagles, Goodell would NOT be strolling the streets of Philadelphia without a body guard. If anything, compared to what he did WITHOUT PROOF, I think the people in NOLA are being nice. |

Not sure if "expect" is the best word for the OP.. I prefer to think "prepare" would be more fitting. |

Re: Goodell should expect rude welcome
I'm thinking some of those folks at ESPN should be worried as well. Like anyone has forgotten their role in the whole thing? Wiretapping ring a bell ESPN?
