Im not crazy about him either, but to answer why Brees had a bad interception year is pretty understandable.

The Saints rank No. 2 in the league with 40 drops

When your guys keep blowing plasses to put you into 3rd and short, you have to force passes to make 3rd down.

Brees threw a record setting interceptions last year because even with all the running backs we have we forgot how to run?
We had the talent we "just can't get right"

Brees was trying to carry too much of the load last year. I think it got to him and he'd try too hard to make it work. Imagine being on a team where your defense is so bad that a fourteen point lead going into the fourth quarter actually meant you were seven points down.

I ain't lookin' to marry Rob either, but if he can take our defense from **** to mediocre, I'll drink the Koolaid.
