RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
Rob Ryan is a strong signing for the Saints. What is the word on Spags has any team picked him up yet.

Re: RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
Haven't heard but after the failure in St Louis and New orleans.... Some folks might be stand offish towards him.

Re: RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
Yeah; I don't see Spags getting pick up real fast... Being the leader of the defense who ranked the worst in league history has a way of sticking with you...

Re: RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
Spags is probably going to banished back to the ranks of college. Scratch that, high school.

Re: RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
I think Spags was discussed for the Eagles' vacancy at DC, but after it was announced that they too were going to change to a 3-4, he was obviously no longer an option.
In any case, I think the Eagles might be an organization that ends up giving him a position on their staff or at least offering him one. |

Or we'll be hearing from him on ESPN.

Re: RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
I think the NFL N hired him. And fired Deion

If I were Spags I would try and catch on somewhere with a really good Defensive line, that is what his system needs in order to flourish

Re: RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
He'll have to restart from the beginning, as an assistant coach... As an assistant D-Line coach, D-Line is what he is known for...

Re: RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
Sorry I am in the minority. But I do not believe Rob Ryan is the answer. He had better talent w/ Dallas and still had mediocre at best results. He defenses have been average or below at all of his DC stops. Granted the best thing for the Saints is not revolving door of coordinators, but a overhaul of personnel and talent. Hope this one doesnt come back to bite Sean.

Spags would really make a splash with little league.

Re: RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
In Dallas, he didn't have an offense that averages 30 plus points a game. Sure he had more talent but most times the defense was tasked with fixing Tony Romo's mistakes after a while that must get old, besides most of his talent was injured last season

Re: RYAN GOOD SIGNING & WHO PICKED UP SPAGS
Spagnuolo isn't gonna be landing a high profile gig anytime soon. That dude's kinda shown that he's completely overrated as a head coach or defensive coordinator. Yes, yes, he was successful as the Giants D-Coordinator but for God's sake who couldn't be when you have Strahan, Umenyiora, Tuck, etc.?!
