Re: Is Hartley The Man?
He was great out of the gate, but NO, he has been a head case ever since..

Re: Is Hartley The Man?
Having a heavily-medicated emo headcase kicker with ADD on the team, who kicks like a girl, is one of those mad hatter Sean Payton CONCEPTS that will have to be revisited and reviewed, now that he is back in the office.

Re: Is Hartley The Man?
I'm over Hartley. He's done. It's time to move on and get the Tulane kicker.

Re: Is Hartley The Man?
I think Payton hasn't forgotten the huge mistake he made when he let Carney go. Ultimately he replaced Carney with Carney.

Re: Is Hartley The Man?
With few exceptions kickers become steady and reliable but not with the team that signed them initially.

Re: Is Hartley The Man?
So if he burned 3 late draft picks on a kicker would everyone be OK with that?

[/quote] I agree with almost every thing SaintsBro says here. Hartley has a strong enough leg but he looks scared and uncertain every time he goes to kick. It's no wonder that Payton yelled at him about having his head down and shouted, "Have some nuts!" If the game's on the line and Hartley is up to kick, I can't watch. No really, I go somewhere until it's over. The horror! |
