Giants Homepage
Another one of those what-ifs that hopefiully don't happen:
The official New York Giants Homepage claims the Giants will be in the playoffs "with two victories and one loss by either of their two competitors (they win the tiebreaker over New Orleans), or by going 1-1 and having either the Falcons or Saints lose both remaining games." I don't see how they win the tiebreaker over us if we win the game against Carolina or they lose against Philadelphia. Both teams 10-6, 8-4 in the conference and 2-2 in common games (MIN, WAS, SF, ATL). Or how do they count the 2 wins against WAS by NYG and the two losses to ATL by us? Would it be 3-2 NYG and 2-3 Saints? We win the strength-of-victory tiebreaker no matter what happens the last two weeks. What am I missing? |
