now the the 49ers have 15 draft picks what about the idea of the saints trading down for the 31 and 34 pick in the draft

that would be a solid trade imo.

I would rather bank roll the #1 next year.

#34 would land us a solid player that does not have the hype and those player that dropped.

plus if you bank roll the #1 pick the niners would have to add a late round pick to make it work

But to have the niners trade with us would be weird.

the 49ers media guy on sportscenter said he would not be surprised to see them trade up in the first roud for dline help.....so the trade would not surprise me but there is a long way to go

and revis is an interesting theory as well

Lets hope somebody like Richardson or Star(however you spell it) falls to us.Win win either way.Trade back for picks or pick up a top D-Lineman.

Two sources tell Yahoo Sports the 49ers are "poised to make a run" at Darrelle Revis after stockpiling 15 picks in the 2013 draft.

The Niners only have 12 picks right now, but will get three more via the compensatory process. Per Yahoo's Jason Cole, the 49ers have considered pursuing Revis and not extending his contract, forcing Revis to play out 2013 at $6 million via bonuses and salary. Cole suggests Atlanta could make a Revis run, as well. If San Francisco acquired Revis, it'd likely surrender one of its two top-34 picks, or perhaps even both. Jets GM John Idzik should be on the phone with 49ers GM Trent Baalke. Idzik needs roster-building pieces, and Baalke has them.

For a trade to happen thr would have to be a certaing guy that they felt they can't be without. Don't know if they hav that a specific hole in their roster.

The niners are going to make a trade or two but with all these picks this could be one of those dynasty drafts for them. Listen they have 15 picks and some team is going to trade picks to move up and give them picks for next year and they just going to stock picks and that's going to give them a chance to add a lot of good player. I just see this draft as a reason for them to be good for a long time.

Just don't see San Fran doing us any favors. Only thing is I think we need quality not quanity with our pick and get the best guy for our D someone that can be a really good player.

Revis is going to be tough to trade. He wants 16 mil a year.that is a huge chunk of change. He is recovering from acl surgery
