So could harp and smith extend their contracts at a lower price with bonuses as well?

Do we want them for 3-5 more years?

The only one I see sticking around is Vilma, I could see him taking a pay cut to stay with the team.

I know loomis has saved us about 11 Mil, by restructuring colston, grubbs, hawthorne and evans

Does this mean we are only like 3 Mil over now? Hopefully brees can restructure and it would drop by a hell of a lot

Cut vilma and smith and we'll be sitting pretty

Oddly enough, i don't recall any talk about harper restructuring...

We usually agree, but these three just need to go.imho
I would like to see us trade Harper if possible, cut Will Smith and open a roster spot for a new D-lineman since he's not getting the job done.

Vilma is the one that I could consider keeping for insurance as a back up but he would have to play for league minimum, although we could use that roster spot on an up and coming young player.
The question is do you release three starters in the same year without their replacement already on the roster?

It was just raised to $123 million.

A little more breathing room.

This offseason kinda stinks. I'm wondering if the Saints are doing what I've done....digging themselves further in the hole to get results now.
