All he did was get lucky to still Blake's job a few years back. After he took over we had a losing record the rest of that year. He was not even close to the reason we won that playoff game the rams had about 5 tournovers. He did take us to that 6 and 1 start but when he hurt his shoulder he was scared to come out because he knew that jake delhomme was going to take his job like he did blakes. How can u like a guy that laughs when he screws up thats who i would want to lead my team all of the great quarterbacks laugh when they mess up. He has good numbers on the two stats we look at the most TD and int but there are some other stats we should be looking at. Jake did not have very good stats but your quarterback has that leadership everybody will step up.

Wow I really have to agree with just about everything you have said. At least there are some people that are not blinded by just numbers that Brooks has put up. I also agree that they should look at getting Rohan Davey he will be a starter one day. Whatever they do i hope they figure it out because duece has about 3 or 4 more years of being in his prime i hope it is not wasted.

Hmmm. Let me remember. Oh yeah, Blake broke his ankle into a thousand pieces and Brooks got thrown in. He beat the Rams twice, once in their place, and once in the playoffs, the only playoff win in franchise history.

Now I throw your own quote back at you. Delhomme isn\'t close to the reason for the Panther\'s success last year. A stellar running game and an outstanding defense is what carried the Panthers. Delhomme was mediocre at best most of the season.

Now we\'ll see how the Panthers get it done this year. Everyone will key on Smith and Davis. The O-line is suspect. Now Delhomme is going to have to step up and make things happen offensively. It\'ll be interesting to see.

Yes brooks was at the top of most stats fumbles included. Hey Jake\'s stats were not that good but i watched him make numerous plays to win a lot of close ball games in the fouth quarter. All i here is Brooks stats then where was the offense at wasn\'t ranked much higher than the defense. I was one of Brooks biggest fans at first i do not think he can lead the saints to the super bowl because no matter how could his stats are at the crucial part of games when you really need a big play i do not think he will deliever consistently.
