Sorry about the ebonics but I've noticed a couple of things this offseason I thought I might point out a couple of those to see if anybody sees what I see.

- Nobody has asked Roman Harper to restructure......
- The hammer hasn't been dropped on this defense, more like a scalple......
- Mickey Loomis is going ham, but delicately......
- We might already be at, or right above cap.......
- Vilma and Smith restructures seem harder than the rest of the teams
- Sean Payton likes Dion Jordan ( Binoculars fail)
- Anthony Spencer got franchised, but Dashon Goldson didn't!!!!

I'd love to find a way to create cap space for Goldson

That's because they aren't restructures but contract renegotiations with potential pay cuts involved - at least that's the rumor.

WELL LETS SEE IF U SEE WHAT I SEE!
1. Roman Harper will get traded Cause "CAUSE HE HASN'T GOTTEN CUT"
2. Will Smith probably will get cut for not taking a deserved pay cut!
3.Vima might take the pay cut but then he'll get traded during draft or training camp cause he won't cut it in @a 3-4 Front!

Y MAKE A MOVE ON AN EXPENSIVE FA when the draft has all the talent on D u need! NOW GETTING A PICK FOR ROMAN HARPER IS THE TRICKY PART! He has a high cap number for his production and play, but he is a talented blitze. But Harper's coming off the books one way or the other. VALUE OR NOT HE HAS TO GO HIS PLAY IS DETRIMENTAL TO THE SAINTS D! Lol "DAMN U ROGER U UNJUSTLY STOLE TWO 2nd rd PICKS! WITH NO EVIDENCE BUT HEAR SAY u *****! die!

Brother, you have a "problem" with your cap usage - board etiquette states that you should avoid using all caps in your posts; it's the equal of shouting all the time. :-)

IMHO he can find the ball, opposing offenses are aware he is out there and he a consistent, solid tackler. At a good price, I would warmly welcome the idea.

Because of two reasons: Long in the tooth, and short of the contract... Being short of contract and long of tooth poses the question... Do we want to lower their cap number at the cost of having to keep them for 3 or more years.

I don't see Harper getting traded, unless Tennessee (Gregg Williams) makes a move, and there are two reasons; first, he's got a high salary cap hit to complicated things; second, a team would probably wait and see him cut first before make an expendable draft pick...

I don't see Harper getting moved. No one would pay that much for a mediocre player and I think the team is hoping he benefits from the new scheme.
I think Smith and Vilma are as good as gone, Smith is way overpriced and we just have no need of Vilma.

If we trade him, the Saints take the cap hit for the bonus money.

It would cost us over 3.5 million just to trade him.

Tennessee would only have to pay Harper his 2013 and 2014 base salary, approximately 5.5 mill per season.

I wish they would cut Harper or move him to LB.

I never have thought he was fit for Safety except the one season he was opposite of Sharper.
