I really hope the Ryan hire doesnt come back to bite us
Because it is clearly not a buzzed about hire. Why do we always have to be underdogs in our best years?
|
Think about what you just posted.
Ill take a string of underdog years if that equates to Championships. |
Re: I really hope the Ryan hire doesnt come back to bite us
Also, think about our history...not just the last 6 years or so. It will still be awhile before we are thought of more than as an outside joke or fluke to most NLF'ers.

I hope we stay just as popular as we are now... let someone else bask in the limelight...
Under promise... Over deliver. |

I don't think it's buzzed about because it is
1. old news 2. Not a very large media area People will find out soon enough if it was worth it. I for one believes it is... it can't get any worse |

My spidey sense tells me that all is quiet now, but once Payton gets back out there and starts coaching games again, it's gonna be completely off the chain, wild, and people WILL be talking about it, including the Ryan hire and the 3-4. Because next year it's not just the Ryan hire. It's the total package that we are going to get.... I get a feeling that Payton is going to come back completely unpredictable and loaded for bear, and unlike last year, that attitude at the top WILL spill over to the other coaches and coordinators and players as well.

Leave Booger alone. He's got enough problems without you being jazzed.

Re: I really hope the Ryan hire doesnt come back to bite us
All I can say is this - we NEVER had a chance to be good with Spags and his "four dominant down-linemen" approach. Would have taken us 3 years before we saw results.
So most coaches would have taken our talent, or lack there of, and used what we had to put a competitive product on the field. Spags was NOT one of those coaches. All I saw was the same running up against the wall defense all season long that we don't have the personnel to run. So basically, almost ANYONE is an improvement over Spags last year. Whether people are hyping it are not - I don't care. Like everyone else, I just want to see results. |
