Current Cap Space?
Does anyone know where we stand in cap space? Could there be room for Victor Butler and Nnamdi Asomugha?

Re: Current Cap Space?
Don't quote me but I just read somewhere that we are 5.4 million over.
Sorry I can't back this number up. |

Re: Current Cap Space?
Loomis will make it work no matter how much it is and if he doesn't Benson can get off the money pot and pay those fines!

Re: Current Cap Space?
Will Smith is the worst possible fit in a 3-4 defense, I still think he gets released. Im not sure how much that would free up though.

So I agree, we might as well keep him. How long is he signed for? I think he is in the last year of his contract. But I could be wrong about that. |

I would stop worrying about the cap for a few reasons.
1.Once we got under the cap we can not go over it again. 2. 3M under means we have zero room to work. 3. It's impossible at this point to know what Loomis can/would make room for. While I can understand why everyone would like to know, we are all merely guessing from this point on. However if it helps you right now we have 3M to work with..... 3m not counted as that is what margin we want to start the season with. |
Re: Current Cap Space?
ESPN estimates we are about $1.85m under the cap.
