According to Jeff Dickerson of ESPN Chicago, the Bears have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with Saints defensive end Turk McBride.

No biggie, he's a 4-3 type DE anyway. Good move for him.

Former Lions' player goes to the Bears... I wonder what SloMo thinks about this?!

I expected more out of McBride when he was initially brought over, but injuries once again were an obstacle for him, and then I seem to remember him voicing his displeasure openly at the coaching staff for not giving him enough snaps late last season, which was unprofessional in my opinion. Nevertheless, I do appreciate him playing for the Saints, and I do wish him the best of luck in his future career - although I can't wish anything good for the Bears in general.

wasn't he the one that blew up Kurt Warner during our SB run? if so, that's all i remember him for.

Nope, McBride played for the Saints only for two seasons: 2011 and 2012.

The hit that sped up Kurt Warner's retirement process. He's on record as saying that was the hardest hit he ever took in the NFL. They had to scoop him off the field with a ladle.

Yeah that McCray hit was brutal! That reminds me of that hit that Sharper made on the Patriots RB during the '09 season.
