Like Danno pointed out - if we shore up a few more positions in FA I wouldn't hate them for going with who could be the most dynamic offensive player in this years draft.

Even if we shore up a few more positions, this is the worst D in league history...... EVERY PICK Besides Terron Armstead in the third

should be a defensive selection, including the one or two extra picks we get for trading down

WAS the worst defense... And can we throw out 2012, once and for all?

How are they already better you ask? Here are my reasons in chronological order:

Payton returns
Switch 3-4 announced (better suited)
Ryan signed
Re-signed key veterans of the Saints system (#somethingtoprove)
New CB with skills, upside
Depth coming via FA and draft

It's never a good idea to count on rookie draft picks to impact your defense.

So, let's see what unfolds before the draft. We may actually be celebrating a 1st round pick on OFFENSE
