Well if he is gonna play NT he shouldn't have lost that 40 lbs. So if he lost 40 lbs. that means he's about what 300 lbs.

Gathers is the Ga. big man I would draft, with good conditioning he would go well with Bunkley.

1.STAR L., 2.Sylvester Williams,3. Brandon Williams 4. John Jenkins, the kid out of Tenn Martin, All these guys are good looking prospects in a 3-4 with Star L. The only one worth a 15 overall selection but with all the depth at DT,CB,and OLB I think you can take the best available on your big board out of those three positions unless one of the tackles fall due to holes being filled via FA! The 1st rd value is on defense and o-line but only 5 or 6 of them worth a 1st rd pick but on defense there's 40 first rd grade guys! So that's why I hope we trade a player for more picks or trade down!

granted i would love to see another gathers in a saints uni.

He might be too tall is the only thing i can say against him. Played DE at UGA and spelled at NT when needed. he is a JCC transferee that has not had a starters job in college he is jumping to the NFL after just 1 yr at UGA. To me is costing him money. If he stayed hus senior year he would have gone higher in next years draft. It may take a year or two but his upside maybe greater than any of the DT in the draft. He is a kid i would take a risk on in the mid rounds.

under the media radar type of player that should go higher in the draft IMO by 4th. i would not be all that surprised to see him go in the 3rd. he is seems to one of those players that shocks the media
