I have been checking out this site ever since the interview they had with Joe Morgan. This is a great first half of a mock, what do you think?

STAR LOTULELEI TRUMPS Jesse Williams WHY BECAUSE CHECK OUT NUMBERS Star ran faster benched 8 more reps and he can also slide to the DE in 3-4 in a run situation or heck he's quick enough like I believe he can be used just like Ngata and Wilfork! He is going to be more than a run stuffer like Jesse Williams. Star will put some pressure on the qb! IN MY OPINION. Star L., Sharrif Floyd, Sylvester Williams are the only DTs worth a 1st rd pick!

I would be surprised if he drops to 15, it would be nice though. Still I would like to trade down for a 1 and a 2

i really have problems seeing the saints not going for flash in round one. OL and DT are not exactly impact or flashy. I think Ellis was the one pick that went non instant flashy impact. history is not on our side here.
then again a year off may have changed is way of thinking. lets hope |

He would be the only player in the 1st round at pick 15 I would use my 1st pick on at DT, if he doesn't fall at 15, trade down for a late 1st and mid 2nd.

If the main function of a NT is to "eat up blockers and space" there's at least 15 NT prospects in this year's draft who are over 6' & 320lbs.
Yes Star is a top talent but how much better is he than a guy we could scoop in round 3-5? I wouldn't trade up for a NT. If he's there at 15, sure. |
I hope he is there at 15,not because I really want us to draft him but somebody later on in the draft may be willing to trade up.

Well we did get Jordan and Jenkins they have done well. I think our drafting in first rounds have been better. Robinson we really don't know yet. Ingram either. Reggie has talent but we did not utilize him right.
