A representative from Paramount pictures sent blackandgold.com photos from an advance screening for Drew Brees's birthday held in San Diego last week for G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

He wrote "We were fortunate enough to have Drew Brees attend with his wife with Brittany in military fatigues! I've attached photos above and one of his tweets below. Thought it could be a fun post for the Black and Gold."

However..

I boycotted G.I. Joe when he became Brusselois, and relocated to Brussels.

The beloved Government Issue Joe that we grew up with is no more.

The new G.I. Joe these movies are about is no longer American, and the Unit is international. All because a couple of Executives decided to go PC...

I love the way he does this stuff, and isn't afraid to dork out about it. He had this thing on his Facebook a couple of years ago and it was the new Madden version, and he had pictures of himself in his house, opening the box.
