Actually that was a posting from early 2006 on SR.com. I am now in San Antonio. I lived in Houston (as Tom Fitzmorris always says, "You call that living?") for six and a half years.

Our friend, SkyMike, was the 39th response to that post and one of only two people who showed up at our first meeting...the other guy never came back. We spent several years watching games at Woodrow's until it just became impossible to deal with their manager, and then moved on to Ragin' Cajun on Westheimer. Trips to Saints games, Astros games, and finally Mudbugs was born. All of you Hou-Dats keep it up...you guys mean a great deal to me and just like it said in my original signature...

Look at the grandbaby! Look at you and Mrs. E. Im so busy now, I only get on the board every few days--- business is insane. Im already picking dates for MudBugs V to propose to the group. Looking at last sat. in April 2014, or 1st sat in May. But, you know the next pressing item for the Hou-Dats is our conquest of Reliant Morgue. C & I will see you well before then. Yes, I remember that first thread, and actually the other guy who showed up is Phil, a Lawyer, and he did come to some games at Ragin Cajun, and also a draft-day party. His wife Lara, came with him to the 1st tailgate at Reliant in front of that bus. And I remember that first Hou-DAts meeting too. You were the Most Interesting Man in the World, well before the commercial. Man, has it really been that long? We've sure added some quality folks in this group, and we all run into each other in N.O. I guess you saw Brandon & Tiffany's baby too?
