Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
Good afternoon B&G fans! Here's my Inside the War Room preview for you guys Enjoy! Em |
Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
I think you've got to be Amerson's number 1 fan Emory. And while Hunt should be drafted in the mid rounds, people always tend to overdraft those workout warriors... which will likely lead to a higher round selection for Hunt.

Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
Actually, I could live with that draft.

Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
Still man crushin' on Brandon Williams, but yeah I could live with this one too.

Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
I like the idea behind that 6th pick.
|
Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
You gotta do a mock where they drop down and maybe pick up draft picks..... Nobody is talking about amerson as much as you are in the mocks I've seen so if that's our guy maybe we can drop to get him and have that second round pick to get someone like Alex Okefor, Datone Jones.... Still lovin the selections dough!!!!

Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
This draft doesn't address NT. If we don't get pressure up front our secondary will still look lost. Overall, though I like the players that you selected. Thanks Emory! As always it's easy to see that you did your home work! Now get us a NT please.

Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
ok you do not buy into media hype and the after the season beauty shows. alex in the third? that is the only thing that really jumped out at me. alex is way to good like you said. nice thought though. Hunt i think you have pegged but some one will risk it no later than third.
i like the kid Roger Gaines – OT – Tennessee State I also can see the saint going with two OT in the draft Chris Faulk, OT, LSU has a clean bill of health so i think the saints might go with him in the third |
Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
How does this change if Nnamdi's signed? Do we still spend 15 on a CB?
|
Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
a CB/S i would say i can live with it

I think then the focus could shift to Eric Reid.. the secondary is Brutal for the Saints...
Are you counting Vaccaro as gone by then? |

Well mark it down he has two fans I been screaming his name from the rafters ever since the Senior Bowl when he was consistently able to get pass Eric Fisher in drills when nobody else could. I see the Saints dropping 10 - 15 and then these two names keep popping up in my mind Datone Jones, Jesse Williams..... I'm diggin Eric Reid, Kawan Short, Brandon Williams and what about Terron Armstead ( can you say screen game!!!) |

Kawan Short and Alex Okafor are two of my favs in the draft. i still like Johnthan Banks (at safety)

Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
Sorry Hagan, spent way too much time watching B1G football last fall and Hankins definitely outplayed Short. I'd take Okafor over either of those two though.

Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
I'd love to get Hunt but i think he will be gone by then. His potentional an upside is way to big to stick around that long.

Re: Football Gameplan's Inside the War Room - Saints
I really like Amerson as well, but I'd rather get him in the 2nd round if the Saints were able to trade down in the 1st, because I think Amerson would still be available in the 2nd. And like others, I doubt Okafor and Hunt are available that late in the draft, but it would certainly be nice if they were.
I'd also rather see the Saints pick up a NT in the draft, because placing Hicks in the middle would be misusing the young man and not playing to his strengths - he is a 3-4 DE all day long, IMO. But like others have already stated, I could live with that draft! Nice job once again! |
