QB's usually avoid the guys who are covered. |

Re: Saints Depth Chart 2013
You should go back to the numerous times Gonzalez has burned Harper when Harper was assigned to cover the TE.
Theirs a reason everyone wants Harper gone, thats a big reason. |

Saints DBs aren't the only DBs Gonzales has burned. He's damn good. Wish he'd have played for a team I could root for.

Re: Saints Depth Chart 2013
Video clip links have been posted here at B/G showing Harper being smoked; if you still want to pull for the Bama product - that's fine...
But to keep asking for proof that he sucks is an exercise in futility... Vaccaro was drafted and I suspect we'll be drafting another Safety next season... Granted the pass rush and front seven has sucked for years and only Darren Sharper's plays on defense overcame the front seven ineffectiveness... But the gashes and big plays are because of the safeties have been awful and Harper is a specialist not a full time starting safety... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: Saints Depth Chart 2013
Here's a little read about our left tackles:
Saints Jason Smith a Darkhorse to Win LT Job - Who Dat Dish - A New Orleans Saints Fan Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more. As I look through this list, wouldn't a player only be considered on the hot seat if there's a reasonable back up for him? I'm curious about Vilma and Hawthorne. Or are you presenting this as an either, or situation.? |

Re: Saints Depth Chart 2013
Taking account of the salary cap situation, don't see us carrying both LBers...
Even with the Victor Butler injury and if Will Herring is a more effective 34 LBer, then both could be in trouble; in fact Herring should also be listed as vulnerable... That's a good bit of money tied up in three LBers that will be pared with Curtis Lofton... |

Re: Saints Depth Chart 2013
So if Vilma, Hawthorne and Herring go, then who steps in there? Pick up Bishop? I honestly believe if there's any kind of nepotism that's going to happen, it'll happen with Vilma. I just don't think the organization is willing to say buh bye to him this year.
