Hail Mary's
I was watching.a segment on "Hail Marys" on NFLN, when I started wondering whether or not the Saints have ever successfully executed one in their history. I can't remember any, but I sure remember a few that were done against us.

Re: Hail Mary's
Generally we move the ball to well. It usually comes down to a FG.

Re: Hail Mary's
Well.. we do now but i'm talking since 1967.

Re: Hail Mary's
I think Terrance Copper had one against Atlanta a few years ago just before halftime, IIRC.

Re: Hail Mary's
Apparently Dave Wilson did one against Cincinnati Bengals, 1984.
But then we realised we were more effective and better for generating TV market share by incorproating lateral passes instead. Hence the River City Relay. The only drawback being that play was so exiciting and took so long we iced our own kicker. :brood: |
Re: Hail Mary's
Be glad we don't throw them any more.
Goodell would just fine us for Religious play, take a draft pick away for using heavenly tactics, and suspend Drew for throwing to an unclear target. |
