This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
Is it just coincidence that the Saints play the Patriots the day that Brady is set to break Drew Brees' TD record? Or do you think there is something more sinister at work here? We know Godhell hates the Saints, the front office, coach Payton and the city of New Orleans. I'm afraid that he still has a vendetta against the Saints and will continue to make life difficult or embarrass us whenever possible.
Come on, who puts an opponent on national TV so everyone can see the record holder go down? And yes, I am a conspiracy theorist. :saintsfan: |
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
Not quite sure I understand. Which record are you referring to?
Edit: Ahh nevermind. The consecutive games TD record. Gotcha. |
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
I don't think it has anything to do with hating the Saints. It's about having a possible storyline to get better ratings for the game.

Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
With regards to the NFL schedule, I find it highly unlikely that anything is a coincidence. Too much $$ at stake
|
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
No record will be broken that day bc they losing. All my real Who Dat fans know we can shut your streak shawt..still dont believe me?ask "Matty Ice"
|
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
I thought he'd just tie it in week 6?
I think he'd break it in week 7, or is my math off? |
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
Week 6 is the tie.
Im cool with the chance to shut Brady down before he ties. |
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
We can all thank lance moore for the streak ending ! ! !
|
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
I'll give Gotohell a break on this. They did schedule San Diego when Drew broke Unitas's record so they kind of set the precedent then.

Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
If Brady still has that chance, how sweet will it be to have the Saints Defense eliminate that chance.......

Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
Records are made to be broken.

Not a coincidence but who cares?

Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
Honestly does anyone really believe our defense is gonna keep Brady out of the endzone week 6? Idk really our defense isnt going to be a top five and while I think we have a chance to win, we're not shutting the pats down. Personally the pats have a week 3 matchup against bucs that could be possible if Revis goes there. Revis and Goldson could end the streak. There's also believe it or not, the bengals. The pats play this team the week after going to Atlanta. If pats win in Atl, which they should, then they will be on a high after that game against an underrated bengals defense that can stop the pass. The game is in Cincinatti too.
And should the record still be intact before facing us, then the best way to end it is to let the runningbacks and special teams goo wild. |

we better hope it's stopped before the game with us...we ALL know our defense isn't going to shut that **** down. no way in HELL.

Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
I'd trade everyone of Drew's personal records for another Super Bowl win....
|
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
I think Roger Goodell is too much of a dumbass yuppie to be involved in conspiracy theories.
One thing is clear, he isn't half the man Brees is. |
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
Its about ratings. The entire NFL schedule is made based on ratings. The Networks and NFL have people working on whatever possible storyline they can find.
|
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
Does Goodell decide what games are played each week? Or is this more of a get together staff vote thing?
I do believe that certain games are predetermined to be played a certain week before the scheduling proccess such as the defending champion's season opener, the Thanksgiving games with Dallas/Detroit and special games like Brady's and Brees' TD record game. But look at how the rest of this schedule was done. I think they start with one team and then week by week go from there like take this for example. Broncos-Ravens Chargers-Texans Chiefs-@Jaguars Raiders-@Colts Titans-@Steelers Notice how they keep it organized. They have three from west and south playing leaving one team from the south and three from the north. As a result they just give the Titans the lone team they play from the north. I don't know if this is Goodell or if its more a good scheduling guru who can sort games like this. Because I doubt Goodell is this bright thinking. And trust me I have tried to play my hand at predicting the schedule and seeing if I could sort it out myself. I tried but I run into roadblocks everytime. That is hard work scheduling games. |
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
nothing "just" happens in the NFL anymore.
the best angles for the cameras at mid field have been plotted for the Drew and Tom hand shake, commercial have been written and media hype game plan is being drawn up. now will the saints defense be scripted to stop him or not? oh yeah i went that far |
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
Well since I haven't seen anyone else saying it; a six pack to whoever knocks Brady out of that game befor his first TD. Kill the head and the body will die...
|
Re: This Stinks Of Roger Godhell
But I don't want to be exposed as not the best again against the Saints...
