He's not gonna be a starter for the Jets, he's going into another commitee. He'll get more PT.... I think the Jets signed Mike Goodson ( who I would love to see get a whole season of work fantasy wise) but he's not very durable lately either.

So then why trade him? If a player of some use is not going to get a trade value of any use other that practice squad, why trade him?

Averages 6 YPC all against us.

This. You all know how our luck works, and this couldn't be more of a prediction if Nostradamus claimed it himself.

He's going to get plenty of playing time if he goes to the Jets. He'll be a back up in a rotational role. The Jets value him but probably not as much as Loomis. Right now they have probably offered us a fifth rounder.
Loomis is sticking tight to his third round offer and knows he will wind up with a fourth. Which would suit me just fine.
Although I also feel like Ivory has third round value.

I say keep him. He has proven his ability to change games with his explosive runs. Personally I think he is worth a 2nd round pick, or maybe I'm just greedy!!!!

He will start for the Jets and that is why SP and Mickey is holding on for the right offer. Nothing less that a 4th and a conditional next year. Maybe trade our 4th as well for their 2nd. Probably will go all the way to the draft. We may exchange 1st rds depending if the OT is there that we want.

I'm not sure about that. TJ Barnes, the 6'6" 369 lb NT and Kwame Geathers, another 6'6" 342 pound NT are projected to go in the 5th or 6th round. They might not be stars in the league, but could help with our transition to a 3-4.

3rd rounder this year AND a conditional pick next season (3rd if he takes half the snaps or leads the team in rushing)...

I played against Mike Goodson my senior year of HS. He was injured then too.

We should do it just for cap space. I like the dude but we have probably the best depth in the NFL at running back. Ingram can be the man as long as he doesnt get dive plays called every time he is in the game. Call at least a play action or something for the man. The good news is Seans back.
