Who will be in that NUMBER?
Ok i am posting from the middle of the article. so there is a before and the usual after but this is what struck me the most
Who will be in that NUMBER? “This isn’t a great draft for football fans, but it is for the scouts,” said Rob Rang, senior analyst for NFLDraftScout.com. “Coming off a year in which Luck and RGIII came in, we’re a little spoiled. Now, everybody is expecting rookies to come in and be dynamic players and go to the Pro Bowl (right away). This is a meat-and-potatoes kind of draft. They won’t score a lot of touchdowns, but they can block, make tackles and cover.” That’s good news for Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis and coach Sean Payton. While there aren’t as many first-round prospects at quarterback, running back and wide receiver, there are lots of tackles, defensive linemen and outside linebackers —- all perceived as positions of need for the Saints. “There are a lot of good players in the 15 to 45 range,” Rang said. “I believe the Saints are going to get a good player at 15; I just don’t know if it’ll be a great player.” Then again, you never know. Who will be in that NUMBER? | Sports | The Advocate — Baton Rouge, LA That statement explains best why hype is driving so many pre draft mocks. this is a draft were lunch pail players dominate. so do not get caught up on one trick ponies |
"We may have lost the game, but you'll be hurting tomorrow." Doug Atkins

Re: Who will be in that NUMBER?
I don't understand why writers don't think this will be and interesting draft for fans, I don't know about you guys but I usually watch what I can of the entire draft, listen on radio at work, check the various websites etc.... I understand that fans want flashy names, and glitz and glamour.... but there are some NFL fans who know that they way to get to the "mountaintop" is not through a lot of fluff and spongecakes.... I for one can't wait to break out my popcorn and "lunchpail" and check this draft out!!!

Re: Who will be in that NUMBER?
I just hope it's someone that can come in and make a impact right now. I don't care if it's a defence or offence player just someone that if we draft him at the number 15 spot to come in and live up to that high draft pick.
