No way. I have always thought that it is ridiculous to ask a player to do another player's job.

I hated Ditka long before he got here for allowing Perry to score a TD in the SB. You are are not in that game without Sweetness. Payton retired without a TD in the SB. Disgusting!

Perry wasn't too shabby on the DL and don't forget (even though the not fun league seems to do) pro football is entertainment. In that light the Fridge's TD was sheer entertainment. Lotta players with rings never scored a TD in that game and there's never a guarantee that they would've. (Read the bad press about Manning's throw to Porter in our SB. They would've won the game without that. Yuck, yuck, yuck.)

I don't think TJ Barnes or Kwame Geathers were drafted. John Jenkins 6'4" 346 lbs, TJ Barnes 6'6" 369 lbs, and Kwame Geathers 6'6" 342 lbs would be intimidating and difficult to move off the goal line.

I'm not really worried about the run defense, on paper it should be really good...

Jenkins has the size in the middle, Hicks has the range on the outside, and Jordan just seems to get it done for the most part.

The one thing we did well last year was goal line stands. We can still improve on it though. One ton in the front seven.......now that's heavy.
