Re: Kenny Stills vs Florida State

But while I get the critique's from the perfection angle, I'm saying who do you see on our roster that doesn't have a flaw or two? Moore is probably the only guy who you can't really point out a weakness, per se. But then, if I want to look for something to to critique him on, I can point out that he's not a burner, and he goes down almost immediately rather than take a hit. You mentioned Colston as a guy who catches everything that touches his hands, but as I said earlier, he and Graham were among the league leaders in drops last year (Graham led the league). Colston makes amazing catches, and he's fearless going up for the ball, which I respect. But then he drops the easiest pass in the world on the next play, and he also has a bad case of the fumbles. I'm not trying to knock you, even if it seems like it. I just think for a 5th round pick, we got about as polished of a receiver as we could have ever expected. I like Toon's hands, and his route running in college, but throughout training camp last year he looked slow and sloppy. I'm hoping he shows up with a better grasp of things this year. |
Re: Kenny Stills vs Florida State
I saw him in a game agains Texas a year ago and I thought he would be a 1st or 2nd round pick.

Re: Kenny Stills vs Florida State
That double move where he got hit in the head was awesome...
1976, I see it too. He does remind me a little of Lance Moore. But Stills' hips seem to be a little more loose. I also like his first step after the catch. Tries to get up field fast. |
Re: Kenny Stills vs Florida State
Stills should have been a 1st rd pick but for his attitude he would have been. So he drops a few every now and again as its been said by the so called experts. The upside to this guy is higher than I can see, can play the slot or line him up wide either way he's got speed, get him the ball and watch what happens next if he catches it.
