New Orleans Saints' rookies have been assigned jersey numbers
Safety Kenny Vaccaro, the first-round pick of the New Orleans Saints in last week's NFL draft and the rest of the rookies - both drafted an undrafted - have been assigned jersey numbers.
Vaccaro, the All-Big 12 performer who wore No. 4 at Texas, will wear No. 32 for the Saints. No. 32 became available this offseason when the Saints released cornerback Johnny Patrick. The first of the Saints' two third-round picks, offensive tackle Terron Armstead, will wear No. 72, while the second of the third-round picks, defensive tackle John Jenkins, will don jersey No. 92. Receiver Kenny Stills, a fifth-round selection, has chosen No. 82, and sixth-round linebacker Rufus Johnson is set to wear No. 59. This Martin kid could at least be a good special teamer with the way he navigates himself to the ball carrier, but that alone won't allow him to make the 53.

Not a Bill Maher fan; but Date and I sat next to him at the Intercontinental Grand Stand for Endymion one year... ...a bunch of guys wearing Packers jerseys in front of us and he repeated one of his jokes/funny lines that I can't get past... ..."is there anything gayer than (a grown man) wearing another man's (jersey)?" Gotta admit, there's a valid question...been given Archie, Brees, Rickey, Morten, Mills and Glover Jerseys and other than a game two years ago on my little girl's insistence - I can't wear another man's jersey! |

I was hoping Chase Thomas would geaux Old School and wear something in the 46 or 49 or get No. 56...
