Yale LB Gets Shot at NFL
 

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – He made 211 tackles in a Yale uniform and will get a chance to show his skills to a National Football League team this spring. Senior linebacker Will McHale (Greenwich, Conn.) has been invited to a New Orleans Saints mini-camp from May 10-12.

McHale, the elected team captain for 2012, led last fall's squad with 78 tackles while starting every game.

I wish him well... at least he has that Ivy league education to fall back on if it doesn't work out in the NFL.

Same here. He a very nice kid, good kid. A very good football player. I wish him the best.

The Saints had Yales QB Patrick Witt in mini camp last year too.
