That's kind of been Devery's modus operandi the last few years. He has had great training camps and preseasons. He has done just enough to silence his critics and make the team when many thought that he was pretty much done. His regular season stats have told a different story, because Drew has always seemed to place his trust more in Colston, Moore and Graham. Devery is an adequate receiver, but no longer a #2 or even a #3 guy. I think if he is even signed to a minimum salary contract for one year, he'll make the team based on his knowledge of the offense alone. Like you, I just don't see him being re-signed and making this team. The Saints are definitely looking to go younger at the position with the likes of Stills, Toon and Morgan.
