Ahhhh, the Browns who have nothing on the sides of their helmets and no reason for anyone to knock it off of them anyhow. And yep I'm a Browns fan too 'cept when they play the Saints of course. I liked the old brighter gold helmets.

Pretty good list. And he is correct in the fact that there are certain helmets that will never see much change.

I'm probably one of the few too who likes the old cream Buccaneers' uniform more than the crap they're wearing nowadays.

Many of the throwbacks are better than what the teams are using now, but it's all marketing and merchandising, so in a way it's understandable that teams try to follow trends to appeal to new (younger) fans.

i agree i like the old Buc and the orange sherbert uni's

Fans in new england hat the new flying elvis logo. bring back Joe Pat is their chant, young and old alike.

I still hate our all black uni's they look like mr. hankie has fielded a team

Yes tradition, but it has long been an iconic emblem of our city.

It took on a larger meaning following Katrina. It is now a symbol of rebirth, unity and strength for me and many others.

To me it is one of the most stirring symbols that exists.

It is just so damn pretty to my eyes and to my heart.
