Personally to have Sean as our coach it is worth it. His contract takes zero away from the team.

That is chump change when compared to corporate executives. The top 100 ALL get paid more than twice what Payton receives.

Yes we do tend to pay the highest of wages to be entertained...that is the priority we have placed in the USA, over safety, running the country, being educated etc... but what he hell I am all in give me the best entertainment money can buy

If a guy can make my company 20 million/year, I have no problem paying him 10 million/year if he's the best qualified person to do so.

When it comes to executive Management, salary does not not equate to a days work @x$/hour.

For Executive Management, Salary is native to that persons market value in comparison to his peers based on his impact on revenue and profitability. The wash is that if they do not meet increased revenue/profitability expectations they are quickly replaced. Or the Success of the Company.

Sean Payton brought a Super Bowl to the land of have not's, and I expect will do this again. Sean Payton's salary pales in relation to the money put into Benson's coffers for winning a SB but it is very relative.
