Steven Jackson now on the falcons ??? I mean he single handedly punished us when he was on the rams.... Now he is with Atlanta I'm little worried bout that!!!!

Atlanta is going to be tough I believe - he's a short term upgrade to their running game without a doubt.

even when they win the division they never win a ring...
so i tend to look at them as the vikings of the south.

no big deal. what is in the past, is not this season.

SJackson doesn't scare the Saints defense, is my estimation.

Why are they trying to take 2 years of of his career with the rams, this dude has carried the ball a ton, when he hits the wall it will be hard. I don't expect him to be the Stephen Jackson they expect him to. If we play defense we will be fine

I would he scared if we still had spags running our D and we were facing steven jackson, he's a great player and has burnt us countless times but we gotta have some faith!

Our D needs to shock people, take steven jackson out of the game by getting a couple scores up!

IMHO, Jackson is not the worry. He will get his yards. However, White, Jones, and Gonzales are the ones that are of concern. Someone, anyone, had better teach the Saints D how to tackle!

I don't think so. Is Jackson much of an upgrade? He has carried the ball A LOT & that has too come into play at some point

Yeah I'm not worried bout Ryan as much as I am Jackson ppl don't think he doesn't have much left but I think he does n hopefully we can jump ahead of them so they abandon the run game

Turner was trouble for a lot of teams, including us. We still handled him well enough.

Stop Gonzales and you stop the Clowns. Play'em close to the end of the first half and you've beaten them. I'm not convinced Jackson has much left in his tank.

Falcons run game is there to hide the problem they got at QB.

Otherwise they would of never looked at Steven Jackson just for a 1 year sub.

I'm with you on this one. Jackson no doubt will be a hands full but my worry lies with their passing attack. Julio Jones matched up one on one with P Rob... now that is scary.

We've had good success against the falcons with an aggressive D, in the 3 years GW was here we went 5-1 against the falcons

I'm excited to see what Ryans D is like

If I may. The Saints defense will see Steve Jackson no more than a total of 35 plays this entire season.


With Rogers, Snelling, and the passing game they are so proud of (cough)... I am not worried about any player that touches the ball less than 20 plays per game.

Only time I'm afraid of him is something like, if they have a lead and they have the ball late in the game and he's got relatively fresh legs and our defense is tired and the Falcons don't need to score anything but only need to chew up minutes off the clock by getting three measley first downs. Anything else besides that exact specific mismatched situation, I think we can handle him.
