It is one of my pet peeves when coaches give out bad info like this. I understand they may not want to give out everything they know, or they might not know the full extent of something immediately, but if either of those is the case they should just say that. I really dislike when they say it isn't a big deal and then the very next day...oh yeah, dude is on the IR and may not play this season.

I'm just amazed that mentioning bad news - which it was when it was "banged knees" - equates to someone hitting the panic button or wearing women's underwear.

Nowhere did I say this meant anything more than next man up. Hurts to lose Butler, but gives a young guy an opportunity to shine...

Wasn't targeting you specifically, but there's a tendency here to grossly over-react to every stubbed toe or tweaked ankle by any player at practice.
