Re: I wish we would sign TO or Moss
Wouldn't want Moss, but would be ok with them kicking the tires on T.O. Big, strong WR...still in great shape....fiery competitor....I'd have no problem bringing him in like Seattle did, just to see if it would pan out. Last preseason in Seattle, my understanding is that it was basically out of him and Braylon Edwards for that last spot.....and T.O. had made some nice catches, but also dropped a wide-open TD pass from Matt Flynn in one of the last preseason games. Whereas Edwards had been consistently impressive throughout camp and preseason. These days you can pretty much sign anybody without a dime of guaranteed money, right?

Do you really want that guy in middle December talking to the media complaining on how he 1. Doesn't get the ball 2. nobody listens to him 3. Doesn't get the ball 4. Throwing the entire staff under the bus when we drop a game I don't question they have talent but thier mouths and reputation far exceed thier talent these days. Simply not worth it IMO Again great talent no doubt just dont want everything else that comes with it. I'd rather have Tebow.... |

1. He turns 40 later this year...so he knows that this season is probably his last chance, basically ever. 2. Getting cut from Dallas after 2008, I believe, was the ultimate wake-up call for him. You never really heard anything negative about him when he went to Buffalo in 2009, or Cincy in 2010 (both teams were losers). Also, he put up solid numbers in Cincy, showing that the ability is still there. 3. He's been out of football now for 2 full seasons. He'd probably relish the opportunity to play with a guy like Brees and the others. 4. He hasn't won a Super Bowl ring yet. The Saints, in my opinion and in the opinion of many others, are a legitimate Super Bowl threat this season. He'd have to be the dumbest person on Earth to mess that up. |

If Chad would've been a Saint his whole career everybody on this forum would love him. If Moss and T.O. would've had a QB like Brees their whole career you wouldn't have heard any complaints from them. Ultimately, they all just want to win.

Lets not pretend like we're the model for a high class organization.
