As for what is "more than meets the eye" I would assume you are referring to targets-to-catch ratio. Which I would argue has more to do with the difficulty of completing a longer pass than drops, since Henderson was the deep threat.
57.6% catch rate for Henderson in those four years, as opposed to 64.6 for Colston. Not a big difference considering.
As already mentioned, Graham drops quite a few passes, but I don't see his career being subject to this "drops" narrative. Henderson's reputation for dropping passes is the result of intellectual laziness.
Can you link to one of those "metrics" ? And, yes, Graham has dropped quite a few more, almost unacceptably so. His big plays have made up for it. Henderson was hands of stone early in his career, after which he dramatically improved. His speed was an invaluable asset until recently where father time has caught up. His production has tapered off, not surprisingly, as his God given speed has waned. So in a sense, your point shows really a diminished production.
