Butler return timeline ?
I know it's pretty serious when ACL's are torn and such , however I've seen some instances where players are able to come back in a decent amount of time sometimes for the playoffs or the 2nd half of the season ... All tears aren't created equal so does anyone have any insight on the severity of the tear , slight tear all the way to the Willis Mcgahee bracket ... Recovery time and rehab included ... ?
Judging by Sean Payton's initial reaction Of the injury it may be a good omen to a possible return late in the season ... There are tears when you don't know you have them and the obvious ones your leg is flaccid from. Anyone ? |

When coach payton says a player is fine, he is probably going to be on IR. "Just banged knees" turned into ACL tear |
Re: Butler return timeline ?
Nothing concrete as if now, it seems no one on the planet knows for sure since Butler is going to get a second opinion.
We are looking at 6 weeks to 6 months depending on a multitude of variables in no ones controle. |
Re: Butler return timeline ?
Swelling, trauma must first subside which means the damaged tissue and structure has reduced from initial trauma...
At this point, physicians may have a better picture for a more accurate assessment - and until the knee is scoped, it's all conjecture... A more effective surgical treatment will be done on a more stabilized joint... |
