And pointing out that we had the 13th ranked defense in 2011 doesn't have much to do with the Falcons. It simply points out how we weren't the "F" team you suggested. I can see comprehension, much like Falcon postseason success, is still a mystery you. |

Danno; might as well leave it alone... You can't win arguing against ignorance...

We have two tremendous leaders in Curtis Lofton and Johnathan Vilma. Junior Gallette and Martez Wilson have both proven to be able to get to the QB, racking up sacks in back up roles. We drafted Kenny Vacarro and signed Keenan Lewis, as well as returning to a man to man scheme which will greatly benefit Pat Robinson and Jabari Greer. We're now running a system that better fits out personnel. So, with al that said, its more then safe to say the defense will improve. We won a Super Bow with a lot of these players, and actually have a much more talented defensive roster then we did when we won it all. You couple that with the fact our offense will more then likely be top 3 as always and you have a dangerous team. Just like we've been for the past 7 or 8 years. Now you have the Falcons, who got weaker on the o-line and secondary. Then replaces their best pass rusher with a washed up, never healthy Osi Umenyiora, who I don't believe was even a starter on the Giants last year. So if you believe the Falcons can win it all, there's no reason to doubt the Saints, whom have the Falcons number. If you aren't a "homer" you can't deny that either. |
