Pro Bowl vs Game of The Year Rematch ?
 

Okay , I know I'm not alone when I say the Pro Bowl has certainly lost it's Juice. Weak tackling , horrible play calls , Cheesy Showmanship. Just thinking about it makes me Ooze in shame.

So I was thinking perhaps , removing or rescheduling the Pro Bowl game , and Inserting another game. During the Regular Season there are many quality Jaw Dropping Games played ... Let the Fans pick the Game of the year that they would like to see again played the day before the SuperBowl ( Of Coarse not of the 2 Superbowl Winning Teams ) and The Rematch Could Be Held In Honor of the Military.

Or

A Game in which the 2 Losing Conference Championship Teams Square off in honor of Our Fallen Soldiers ... Certainly something to take Seriously in Honor of the Fallen ... Alot of Pride in that Game

Gives the NFL a ton of ratings , Credibility , Good PR etc ...

I doubt the players that lost their conference's championship game would be motivated enough to play what would basically be a loser's Super Bowl.

Goodell should let the Pro Bowl fade away.

So the Pro-Bowl is not played seriously, why would this "rematch" game be any different?

What would make the teams get motivated for the "losers" superbowl...

When the Pro Bowl was played after the Super Bowl, it was played, or at used to be, with the intensity of the final pre-season game.

Now the players don't even attempt to hide their disdain for the Pro Bowl.

Other than $, I doubt there is much that would motivate 2 teams to play a meaningful game that late in the season.

So your choice is to never see any saints players in this game?

IF we are in the Sb we aren't in that game, and if we are not in the SB we all know how the remaining fans in the league feel about us.

I have always said do away with the Pro-Bowl, have a Pro-Day that rotates each year to a different teams field where fans can go get autographs and meet the players.

BTW, its mandatory for ALL players to be there one week after the Super Bowl.

NFLNetwork does that constantly during the off season and through out the week during the season.

The pro-bowl has been getting worse every year, no doubt. If it ends up being bad again this year after ALL the bad press it has gotten, it will just dissipate.

Loser bowl will not work - rather have Pro Bowl.

Just because its done in honor of our troops doesn't mean its a ratings bonanza.

The only way you can make the game matter would be to take the Blue Gray game of college hopefuls who maybe drafted and let them play the game. They have a chance to be seen by scouts, get tape on them against other NFL prospects. Also get their names out to the public more.

Have the players and coaches vote, leave the fans out of it 'cause we don't know ****, buy'em dinner, give'em a trophy and say see ya next season. Let the hairy corporate rat bastards pay for the trophies at a dickzillion dollars each so rogger can get his paycheck. Then leave it alone.

How about they pre-empt the pro bowl for the Lingerie League Bowl? Y'all will want forks for your eyes when I say this: Imagine how ol' rogger could putz that up...

We all want to see this game go away. Maybe having the colleges top players play would be fun. Maybe even come up with another name and let the losing teams that were one game away from the SB play for a nice ring and a nice bonus which would motivate them and take away some of the sting of just missing out.

Skills competition is worth watching.

Mix in some "rising stars" either from the college league. Square them off with the pros. That would be fun

I actually really enjoyed watching Brees drive down the field and throw that ridiculously easy touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham, then the shot of Brees on the bench in a baseball cap right after, but I doubt fans of any other team thought it was anything spectacular or shared that sentiment. It's fun when two players from the same team bond together and start balling a little bit, but if it were two Falcons doing that I would be pissed.

Never happen. I would like to see some modified Pro Bowl - I just don't think this is it.
