Tanner shows up every training camp and preseason and lights it up

That 4.75 40 time sure has me concerned though. Mike Haas looked great in camp too. Hopefully he just timed bad and really plays much faster.

I guess we'll see what happens during the pre-season games.

Agreed, I think thats why he continues to make the practice squad all the time, he hasn't got the speed but he seems to understand the game and makes plays when they need to be made

Im excited to see Toon play to be fair

4.75! Damn! That's tough to overcome.

I found out that was his slowest time. His 40 times range from 4.47 to 4.75.

His average time was listed as 4.57 which is respectable.

I'm not sure where you guys are getting your information!? Coming out of college Tanner ran a high of 4.68 and a low of 4.47...He supposedly ran as low as 4.40 by the time he was actually picked up by the Saints in 2010. He has more speed than most will give him credit....

I've liked this guy since he showed up.
Really good hands...even in traffic.
He just happens to be in a log jam of good receivers.
I think if he's in the rotation, Payton will put him in the right gaps and
Brees will make him look good.

I am a little worried about how young the WR corp is after Colston & Moore.
Not a lot of experience.

I wish the NFL had a D-League or AAA teams. Keep these kids sharp, ready and employed year-round and the NFL could even make some more money (like they need more LOL). Yeah I know there is college FB, but college talent is so widespread and the college programs are driven by their own interests, not player development (getting bowl games and making $$$).
